I am committed to engaging the public in the research I do and encouraging young people to be interested in science. Below are some examples of upcoming and previous outreach events.

EXPLORING STEM FOR GIRLS

University of Sheffield

This event will host approximately 200 Y9-11 girls from schools with a low uptake in higher education. The will have the opportunity to find out more about different STEM subjects and related careers. I plan to run an exhibit based around evolutionary biology and showcase some of the research I am currently working on in the lab. In doing so I hope to inspire the next generation of scientists as well as increasing diversity in STEM subjects.
